It started in late 2001 in a midtown Manhattan apartment. One pint of Chunky Monkey and a frozen hand led to a big idea: the Pint Protector. After months of interviewing ice cream lovers across NYC and Florida, we discovered a scoop secret: 50% of us are dedicated "Pinters" who prefer eating straight from the pint, but nobody liked the cold and/or messy condensation.
The Pint Pal story continued as we rebranded and launched our mission: Don’t Hold the Cold™. As the original ice cream koozie invented in NYC, we designed a “Universal Companion” that fits everything from classic dairy and gelato to today’s dairy-free, cashew-milk, and high-protein pints.
From our first newspaper features in 2003 to our national debut on The John Walsh Show, we’ve been the gold standard for pint-sized comfort for over 20 years.
